Grassland nutrition is not too dissimilar to that of cereals except the concern is not only for the nutritional status of the crop for yield & quality but also of the animals which will eat it as their primary food source. Nutritional amendments can be made direct to the crop to provide an increased level of trace elements along with the macronutrients in line with known deficiencies or stock health issues. Nutrition can also be tailored to enhance animal uptake and utilisation, reduce selective grazing, and minimise the use of mineral additives to feed.
