AIVA BORON – Advanced Boron Made Easy
Most liquid boron products rely on Boric Acid and Ethanolamine, creating high-pH formulations that is not suitable for tank-mixing with any actives sensitive to alkaline hydrolysis, ensuring the plant suffers with less efficient leaf absorption. Solid disodium octaborate products dissolve slowly and also produce high pH levels, limiting compatibility and performance.
AIVA BORON solves these problems.
Using ACIDplex technology, AIVA BORON transforms disodium octaborate into a highly efficient, low-pH boron source that:
- Dissolves instantly
- Mixes safely with most fungicides and insecticides
- Delivers rapid, improved boron absorption
- Enhances spray performance with neutral to acidic pH
- Reduces hassle with a clean, dust-free powder
- Provides excellent value and crop safety
This advanced formulation uses carboxylic acids, ligno-polycarboxylates, and EDTA to create a unique non-alkaline boron product that’s easier for crops to absorb and far more tank-mix friendly than traditional boron sources.
Why growers choose AIVA BORON
- Unique non-alkaline formulation
- Safe compatibility with fungicides & insecticides
- Fast uptake with increased persistence
- Cost-effective performance
- Dust-free, rapid-dissolving powder
- Easy to use in any spray programme
- Environmentally considerate formulation
- Low pH to aid penetration and maximise efficiency
Crops: The full range of arable field crops, and vegetables, may be treated. Responses will be dependent on their susceptibility to any particular deficiency. All edible crops may be treated right up until harvest.

Timings
As with all trace element sprays frequent repeated applications at relatively low rates are preferable to one large dose.
As nutrients are taken in by the foliage sufficient leaf area must be present to absorb the spray. This normally coincides with the 3-leaf stage onwards in most crops.
Applications should be made in the early morning or late evening when the uptake by the plant will be maximised.
Mixing & Spraying
- Water Volumes: Do not apply in less than 100 litres of water per hectare unless the spraying equipment is specifically designed for low volume application.
- Restriction: DO NOT MIX with hormone weedkillers or mixtures containing hormone weedkillers unless specific recommendations are given.
- Compatibility: For more information please speak to your distributor, qualified agronomist, or the team at AIVA.
Please see product label for specific directions of use.
