Precision Crop Nutrition, Built on Experience

Founded on the work of agronomist and biologist Flemming Padkær, Flex Technology is the result of years of research into complex liquid fertiliser chemistry. Long before precision nutrition became a headline topic, Flex was already doing it.

Today, Flex Technology is deployed across more than seven EU countries, supporting farmers who want smarter, more efficient, and more environmentally responsible crop nutrition.

Proven, Not New: While others are only now adopting tailored fertilisation strategies, Flex has a long track record of implementing them successfully.

Why Use Flex Technology?

Traditional fertilisers rely on fixed N‑P‑K ratios and free nutrient salts, delivering nutrients whether the crop needs them or not. Flex Technology takes a very different approach.

Advanced Chemistry

Nutrient salts are chemically bound into stable complexes rather than remaining free. This gives Flex fertilisers unique properties that directly benefit both crop performance and the environment.

Low POD

Flex products have a low Point of Deliquescence (POD), remaining dissolved for longer on the leaf surface. This allows nutrients more time to enter the plant, increasing uptake efficiency.

Climate Adaptable

Designed to remain liquid in dry conditions and absorb rapidly. This flexibility enables growers to maintain crop nutrition strategies that adapt to the season, not the calendar.

Foliar Nutrition, Done Properly

By delivering nutrients directly through the leaf, plants bypass many losses associated with soil-applied fertilisers. Product Developer Allan Holm Nielsen explains that foliar fertilisers work extremely quickly because nutrients are absorbed directly, without needing transformation in the soil.

Nutrients are delivered uniformly and safely, promoting strong, balanced plant growth while minimising waste.

"Farmers work tirelessly to feed the nation, and they deserve a system that keeps pace with modern agriculture..."

— Dame Angela Eagle

Using soil, tissue, and sap analysis, fertilisers can be tailored for both soil and foliar applications. Nutrient ratios are flexible, meaning you are never limited to standard NP formulations.

  • Steady, controlled nutrient release
  • Improved nutrient mobility within the plant
  • Reduced volatilisation and leaching
  • Stronger, consistent performance

Practically Integrating Flex Technology at AIVA

At AIVA, we believe in unlocking performance at every stage of crop development. That’s why we adopt advanced crop nutrition inputs powered by Flex Technology. Traditional crop nutrition in the UK often relies on suspensions and salts. While these products may boast higher grams per litre, they are typically marketed on concentration rather than effectiveness, focusing on how much is in the product, not how much is actually absorbed by the plant

Doing More with Less

Flex Technology takes a different approach: doing more with less. Although Flex inputs may contain fewer grams per litre, their efficiency means they deliver comparable, or even superior, results without the need for excessive concentration. This is achieved through nutrient complexing, or “bundling,” allowing the entire complex to pass directly into the leaf. The result is rapid uptake followed by plant-driven utilisation, ensuring nutrients are used exactly where they’re needed.

Unlike conventional inputs, Flex Technology leaves no residues on the leaf surface as wasted product. It also eliminates risks associated with traditional fertilisers, such as leaf scorch from urea buildup. The outcome? Smarter nutrition, greater efficiency, and performance you can rely on.

A Complete Crop Nutrition Strategy

At AIVA, we don’t just focus on delivering superior products, we focus on how they work as part of a complete crop nutrition strategy. We understand the importance of integrating Flex Technology with a broader programme of inputs, including humic and fulvic acids, amino acids, seaweed extracts, and other leading biostimulants, alongside more conventional nutritional & chemical approaches.

This integrated mindset ensures that every application works in harmony rather than isolation. By combining Flex Technology with complementary inputs, we enhance nutrient availability, uptake efficiency, and overall plant resilience. The result is a more balanced, responsive crop that can perform consistently, even under variable conditions.

Crucially, our approach goes beyond product selection. At AIVA, you are supported by consultants who have a deep technical understanding of both the products and the plant physiology behind them. We don’t just suggest what to apply, we explain how and why it works, ensuring that every decision is backed by sound technical reasoning.

This means you benefit not only from highly efficient inputs, but from a tailored, knowledge-driven programme designed to maximise performance at every stage of growth. It’s a combination of advanced technology, intelligent integration, and expert guidance, delivering results you can trust in the field.

The Industry Is Changing.

Smarter and more efficient crop nutrition is leading the way — and Flex Technology has been there from the start. Are you ready to start your journey with Flex Technology?
