Benefits
Bolster plants key processes with AIVA POTASSIUM. AIVA POTASSIUM is designed for maximum foliar uptake and utilisation, assisting in the development of a stronger stem and overall plant growth. Supported by an amide complex, AIVA POTASSIUM ensures efficient uptake at a simultaneous rate, keeping nutrients more available, assimilating nitrogen, and releasing energy to the crop.
Potassium is one of the big three macro-elements required by plants for optimal plant growth, essential for protein synthesis, cell growth, influencing photosynthesis, and regulating cell osmotic pressure, among other things. Among interactions between potassium and other nutrients, the interaction with nitrogen is the most important. Sufficient potassium supply can promote nitrogen metabolism and enhance the synthesis of amino acids and proteins.
Reduce, or negate, the use of traditional high salt soil applied applications of potassium, such as Muriate of Potash, and combat uptake problems with foliar potassium.
High salt based soil applications induce symptoms of drought around rooting due to high salinity, and have an adverse effect on soil microbiology. Plants cannot effectively take up water obstructing potassium’s natural benefit to facilitate water and nutrient movement. Potassium releasing bacteria will also be ineffective.
Crops require a vast supply of potassium throughout the season so supplementing with AIVA POTASSIUM has shown to be effective even in high potassium soils.
Ensure optimum plant growth by actively managing potassium deficiencies. Potassium is associated with the movement of water, nutrients, and carbohydrates in plant tissue, and is involved with enzyme activation within the plant, which affects protein and starch.

Discover
AIVA POTASSIUM contains complexes that allow the nutrients to enter the leaf faster, before the droplet dries out, providing a more efficient uptake and more available nutrients to the plant.
1. Complex chemistry enables the bonded cations and anions to penetrate the waxy cuticle faster.
2. Every molecule contains the complexed elements ensuring efficient uptake at a simultaneous rate.
3. Once inside the leaf structure, the nutrients are free to be taken up by the phloem to be translocated around the plant.
4. Breakdown of the complexed ammonium carrier reduces NH3 volitisation and NO3 leaching.
5. Amino acids and proteins build from the complexed nutrients as they breakdown.

Directions For Use
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the product label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.
For best results of nutritional uptake, apply in the evening or early morning. Do not spray when the crop is in stressed conditions such as very hot weather or drought.
Shake the container well before opening and use. Spray equipment should always be clean before adding product.
COMPATIBILITY:Compatible with a wide range of agrochemical products. For details of compatibilities contact your distributor or local AIVA FERTILISER representative. Carry out a jar test before adding to a new mix.
FOLIAR APPLICATIONS
MIXING: Half fill the spray tank with water, begin agitation and add the required quantity of AF POTASSIUM* to the tank. Rinse container thoroughly and then add the rinsing to the sprayer. Once mixed, continue agitation until spraying is complete and spray without delay. It is not advised to leave products in the tank for long periods of time. *Mix into the tank last when used alongside pesticides.
TIMING: Apply as necessary, higher rates may be needed in very severe deficiency.
DOSE RATE:3-5 L/ha
WATER RATE:100-200 L/ha

Identify Deficiencies
Potassium deficiency symptoms first appear on older (lower) leaves because potassium is a mobile nutrient, meaning that a plant can allocate potassium to younger leaves when it is K deficient. Typical symptoms of potassium deficiency in plants include brown scorching and curling of leaf tips as well as chlorosis (yellowing) between leaf veins. Purple spots may also appear on the leaf undersides. Potassium deficient plants may be more prone to frost damage and disease, and their symptoms can often be confused with wind scorch or drought.
