Aiva Horticulture: Two Years of Innovation and the Power of Flex Technology

It has been 2 years since I joined Aiva and Aiva Horticulture was “born”. During that time the team have developed a range of specialised inputs for fruit and flower production with particularly key innovations for the growing of ornamentals in peat free growing media.
A Strategic Partnership with Fargro Limited
This has coincided with one of our biggest strategic partnerships to date with the link up and distribution agreement with Fargro Limited. This is more than a mere distribution setup, it is a true partnership between two liked minded businesses in promoting a holistic systems-based approach for the benefit of growers.
Flex Technology: The Next Generation of Foliar Solutions
Aiva Horticulture has worked to develop a range of bio-stimulants and true foliar solutions utilising Flex Technology. I can honestly say this is a passion project for me, and I have been fortunate to have been given the freedom to steer this part of the business where I felt is best. However, this can’t be done without products that really do work.
Flex Technology foliars are genuinely some of the highest quality products I have had the pleasure of promoting and working with. Then it is no surprise why we have seen such a positive uptake especially with some of the largest growers in the Top Fruit, Soft Fruit and Vines industries. This has been confirmed by feedback we have received.

The Science of Amide Complexes
This is obviously nice to hear but also a sentiment I agree with. I will tell everyone that when I started, Amide complexes sounded like salesmen patter to me. However, after extensive research and trial work I can safely say I am now a believer.
With Flex Technology complexes we see much higher nutrient uptake and response compared to competitor products using much higher concentrations and at much higher rates. We really are increasing the uptake and nutrient use efficiency of that which we are putting onto the leaf. Combine this with the increase rooting and chelation from feeding the soil not just the plant, you end up with a much healthier and more robust plant all round.
