Benefits
ARMOUR is a unique formulation containing a vital support nutrient, salicylic acid. Combined in a complexed amide nitrogen form, essential salicylic acid can be rapidly assimilated. Salicylic acid acts as a stimulant and plant elicitor. It stimulates the plants own defence mechanisms which helps the plant to withstand environmental stress conditions such as dryness, coldness, heat, and the stress of heavy elements, as well as increasing cell division, photosynthesis, transpiration, nutrient uptake, and rooting.
- ARMOUR is primarily a salicylic acid nutrient package that plays an important role in induction of plant defence against a variety of biotic and abiotic stresses through morphological, physiological, and biochemical mechanisms and can trigger plant defensive mechanisms, making it a viable alternative to biocidal agrochemicals.
- The salicylic acid present in ARMOUR is found naturally in plants and plays an active role in plant growth and development, photosynthesis, transpiration, nutrient uptake, and transport. Salicylic acid is an important regulator of photosynthesis because it affects leaf and chloroplast structure, stomatal closure, chlorophyll and carotenoid contents, and the activity of enzymes.
- The supply of salicylic acid plays a crucial role in the regulation of physiological and biochemical processes during the entire lifespan of the plant. It boosts the strength of cells during cellular production and increases the speed at which growth can be created, increasing overall growth potential.
- This high efficiency product provides a controlled release nutrient supply with bonded complexes that are rapidly absorbed in a safe form.
- Fully bonded nutrients in an amide complex enables even nutrient uptake and minimal losses.
Directions For Use
IMPORTANT:Apply when there is adequate leaf for foliar coverage and uptake into the plant. For best results of nutritional uptake, apply in the evening or early morning. Do not spray when the crop is in stressed conditions such as very hot weather or drought. Shake the container well before opening and use. Spray equipment should always be clean before adding product.
COMPATIBILITY:Compatible with most products. When mixing with multiple products or new products for the first time, a simple jar test is recommended. For details of compatibilities contact your distributor or local Aiva Fertiliser representative.
FOLIAR APPLICATION
MIXING:Half fill the spray tank with water, begin agitation and add the required quantity of foliar nutrition to the tank, then add AF ARMOUR. Rinse the container thoroughly and then add the rinsing's to the sprayer. Once mixed, continue agitation until spraying is complete and spray without delay. It is not advised to leave products in the tank for long periods of time.
TIMING:Apply either during the stem extension phase or at bud/fruit formation or grain fill.
DOSE RATE: 0.5-1l/ha
WATER RATE: 100-200 L/ha
